Post-election push for urgent action on 2024 NHS pay award

The Pay Review Body’s recommendations are in ministers’ in-trays, and decisions from the Wales and Northern Ireland administrations will follow on from Westminster’s announcement.

We are also working with other health unions and jointly through the Staff Council to formally raise the urgency of settling the pay award and the need to get on with the many issues within Agenda for Change that have been neglected.

The newly elected Health Service Group Executive will meet soon, and branches will be updated on developments.
